Eduardo A. de Lima (President & CEO, EDL Hospitality Mexico)

Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Certified Hotel Administrator by the American Hotel & Lodging Association. He held 18 years of executive and senior management positions with Camino Real Hotels, served as Worldwide Vice President and Founding Executive of Westin Hotels & Resorts Mexico, overseeing Mexico and Latin America, and later as Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Mexico.

He also served as Chief Executive Officer of the JVC Convention, Culture & Business Center and the Chivas Stadium Development Project. Today, he is President of EDL Hospitality, a consulting and operating firm specializing in the hospitality, tourism, and real estate industries.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Hotel Management with a specialization in Marketing from Florida International University, Miami. He served for 15 years as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton Sanya (China), The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner (Washington, D.C.), and The Ritz-Carlton Dearborn.

He also spent 4 years as Vice President for Europe with Dolce International, overseeing up to six hotels, and 5 years in executive leadership positions at Euro Disney Paris, leading projects ranging from pre-opening operations to convention and incentive sales management.

In addition, he served for 10 years as Director of Food & Beverage with Marriott International in the United States. With more than 25 years of international hospitality experience across three continents and seven countries, he has led urban developments, tourism projects, hotel operations, convention centers, and the opening of seven hotels.

His executive expertise includes Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Banquet Operations, and General Management. Among his professional recognitions is the «Best Ritz-Carlton in Asia Pacific 2012» award presented by The Ritz-Carlton Company.

Director & CEO of EDL Hospitality Asia, Ernesto A. de Lima previously served as Head of the Hotel Division at Goldman Sachs Realty Japan & Asia and as Chief Operating Officer of Archon Hospitality, a Goldman Sachs company. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Abilitas Hospitality.

He currently serves as President of the EHL (École hôtelière de Lausanne) Alumni Chapter in Japan.

Ernesto began his hospitality career in 1984 with Hyatt International, holding leadership positions throughout North and South America, Asia, and the Pacific, with a strong focus on hotel development, pre-opening operations, and Food & Beverage management.

He later served as General Manager of Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, Park Hyatt Melbourne, Park Hyatt Sydney, and Park Hyatt Seoul, leading some of Hyatt’s most prestigious international properties.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting from the University of Guadalajara and a Specialization in Taxation from the College of Public Accountants of Guadalajara, Jalisco. She has more than 27 years of experience in tax, financial, accounting, and administrative management, serving companies across the service, industrial, and commercial sectors.

She is the Managing Partner of RTA Business Consultants, a public accounting firm, and has collaborated with Grant Thornton International through Salles Sainz Grant Thornton, S.C. She is also the Managing Partner of Operadora CIAJAL, an outsourcing company, and Companies Act RSA International Finance.

Additionally, she serves as the Mexico Representative for La Rambla del Tambuc (Valencia, Spain), a real estate development company, is a professor at Universidad Panamericana, a member of the College of Public Accountants of Guadalajara (CCPGJ), a member of the Mexican Association of Women Business Owners (AMMJE), and a Strategic Partner of EDL Hospitality.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a Master’s Degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, with research studies at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, UK.

He has collaborated with leading Catalan architectural firms on architectural and infrastructure projects, including the Barcelona Forum. His professional experience includes working with internationally renowned firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects and Foreign Office Architects, contributing to projects across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with organizations including Arup, Promodesa, GICSA, CASGO, ICA, CCapital, Rock Enterprises, the Guggenheim Foundation, HOK, KMD San Francisco, GVA, DAMNOV, and various government institutions, specializing in architecture, urban development, and real estate projects.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and completed Executive Programs in Marketing and Senior Management at Universidad Iberoamericana.

His professional career includes positions as Auditor at Price Waterhouse, Assistant Controller at Camino Real Guadalajara, Controller at Camino Real Puerto Vallarta, Controller and Director of Rooms Division at Camino Real Cancún, Executive Assistant Manager at Camino Real Guadalajara, and General Manager of Hotel Hacienda Jurica Querétaro.

He is a Strategic Partner of EDL Hospitality.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from ITESO – Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente, with a specialization in Software Engineering.

She has more than 20 years of experience in systems analysis, software design, and application development. Throughout her career, she has served as a Senior Software Developer at in4mance, Project Leader at Datología, Director of Technology at Soluciones, and Co-Founder of MOTUS.

She has led projects for multinational companies and specializes in information systems, logistics, and warranty management systems. Her expertise includes a wide range of software development methodologies, programming languages, and the creation of CASE tool modules and open-source CMS solutions.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Communications. In Buenos Aires, he was part of González Ruiz & Shakespear Studio, where he contributed to the development of the new visual identity of the City of Buenos Aires.

He later served as Creative Director at Copyright S.A. and FairPlay S.A., before founding the design firms 1&Uno and Sposari Diseño. After relocating to Monterrey, Mexico, he established Sposari Art & Graphic Design.

From 1997 to 2009, he was Director of Design and Advertising for Grupo Omnilife. His work has been published and exhibited internationally in cities including London, Zurich, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Paris, Mexico City, Brno, San José (Costa Rica), and Seville.

His professional achievements include prestigious recognitions such as the Key Art Awards (1975), the Heraldos de la Publicidad Awards (1980 & 1981), and the A! Diseño / Canon Awards (2005–2008).

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City.

He has more than 15 years of experience as Corporate Director of Human Resources for leading hospitality organizations, including Camino Real Hotels, Westin Hotels & Resorts Mexico, Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts – Americas Division (North, Central & South America, and the Caribbean), and Grupo Kelly – Avalon Resorts.

He also served for 7 years as Director of Human Resources at Ernst & Young Mexico (Mancera, S.C.), where he held the position of Internal Client Consulting Director.

His professional expertise includes Executive Development, Organizational Development, and Labor Relations, with extensive experience in the strategic management of Human Resources.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. With 29 years of professional experience, Alejandro Ledón specializes in digital strategy, brand development, and digital transformation. His expertise includes the creation of digital platforms and corporate identities for public and private organizations, integrating strategy, design, and technology to deliver functional, intuitive, and goal-oriented solutions.

As Co-Founder of MOTUS, he has developed a proprietary methodology for creating digital experiences, combining creativity, user experience (UX), and web development with a strong focus on measurable results.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated on projects for TV Azteca, the University of Guadalajara, and the Government of Guadalajara. He also served on the Organizing Committee of the Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games, an experience that strengthened his expertise in the development of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.

As a Strategic Partner of EDL Hospitality, he contributes his expertise in digital transformation, corporate branding, and digital experience development, helping strengthen the organization’s positioning, communication, and digital presence.
